These supply zones had samples over a legal limit for a parameter that limit protects health for, such as lead, nickel, nitrite or E. coli. A failed sample is a test result, not a finding that the water is unsafe: the water company and the Drinking Water Inspectorate investigate each one. Aesthetic checks such as colour, iron and taste are not counted. Ranked by number of failed tests.
